Local Man co-writes Bee Gees book

Saturday 23rd September 2000 was a date that research team Melinda Bilyeu, Hector Cook, Andrew Mon Hughes of HOLYHEAD, Joseph Brennan and Mark Crohan had been working towards for three years! As it was on this that they launched their 750-page book (which includes 32 pages of previously unpublished photos!) entitled “Tales Of The Brothers Gibb”. The book is the first major biography about the Gibb brothers pop band – the “BEE GEES”.
During the launch weekend a convention and a tribute concert were held, with wonderful entertainment provided by brothers James, Robert and Thomas Bathgate – Three Bees tribute band, performed with “The Band” – Jonathan Ledingham (AKA. Jonathan Kelly), Peter Mason, Paul De Marco, Graham Gooch, Greg Ledingham, and Barry Pethers.
The event was also attended by a very special guest. Fred Marks lost his long fight again illness just two months prior to the launch of the book, so his wife Joan accepted the invitation to attend as a guest of honor, along with Richard one of their four children.
THE LAUNCH WAS DEDICATED
TO FRED MARK’s MEMORY.
